We have been going down to Mohammed Sultan Road a lot lately because Hansgrohe is there. We have started purchasing items for our new house! It’s super exciting because we get to choose what we want and how we want to decorate and design it. N’s good friend’s wife (who is now our good friend), Regina is helping us to design our new place 🙂
While having some time before we went to Hansgrohe, we found out that the Book Cafe is just beside it! Along the same stretch! So in we went to try the food. Daniel, our friend told us that he likes to camp there and do his work. We did see a lot of people doing their work in the cafe. We went during tea time-ish and this is what we ordered.
hot chocolate which was perfect! not too sweet, not too bitter. I think N likes the marshmallows in it.. haha..
French toast with bananas and strawberries. He added on the mushrooms. which…. did not go as well. so please don’t add on the mushrooms. even though it’s nice on it’s own. lol. the toast was really good. I loved the maple syrup dip, can never go wrong with that.
this was mine! I forgot what it’s called but it’s one of their popular all-day breakfast meals. Hmm, I can’t seem to find it on their menu. I’m sure there was a blackforest word in it. Anyway, since it was Friday, no maple bacon for me, so I changed it to mushrooms. It was really good. THe eggs were on point. The rosti could have been bigger cos it was AWESOME..
We had a really good meal that we had a late dinner in the end. LOL. It was a really fun day. Finding stuff for our new place! 😀
